On December 1, 2018, the fourth annual Ladies Christmas Tea will be held in the Fellowship Hall of Beacon Bible Church. We will be exchanging “Wrapped” Christmas Ornaments, and if you want to participate please bring your wrapped Christmas ornament. The activities will begin at 10:00 AM and this will be a special time for the ladies. It is a time of fun, laughter, and hearing the Word of God. Come join us and bring a friend.

Mr. Rotman is a concert pianist who has performed over 3000 concerts in 61 countries. He made his debut at the age of sixteen with the San Antonio Symphony Orchestra before an audience of six thousand people. As a Christian, he is eager to share how God has worked in his life through Jesus Christ. Please join us Sunday night, December 2, 2018, at 6:00 PM, as he shares his gift and also his testimony.

When the demands of our daily lives and the family become a little overwhelming, we need to rearrange our schedules. To fulfill all of our obligations and commitments, we have decided to cancel all of the December classes and will resume Bible Study in January. We encourage everyone to use this time to study your favorite books of the Bible, to read the Christmas story in Matthew 1 & 2, and Luke 1 & 2, and to remind our family and friends that the most important reason for celebrating Christmas--the birth of Jesus Christ our Savior, God's greatest gift to us.

As part of the celebration of the Christmas season, the congregation (visitors, family, friends, and members of Beacon Bible Church) will gather together on December 23, 2018, for a Christmas potluck dinner.

This year we will have the White Elephant Gift Exchange. Choose a gift to bring for each member in your family/party who would like to participate. The gift does not have to be store-bought. It could just be something laying around your house that you don't use or don't need. Wrap the gift(s) but do NOT label them.

Thanks to Laura there will be another quiz this year to test our Biblical knowledge and we do ask that you do not use your Bible or your phone to access the internet to answer the questions. This is for fun and learning.

During the Christmas season, take some time to sit quietly and contemplate the reason we celebrate Christmas. We should be reminded of the birth of Jesus Christ, who is the Son of God and rejoice over His birth. There is no limit to His ability to enrich our lives and His blessings are endless and freely given. This holiday season provides us with the opportunity to share the true meaning of Christmas to those around us. Merry Christmas!

On the last Saturday of each month at 9:30 AM, the Beacon Bible Church hosts a gathering for the men in our congregation and community. At that time, Fellowship Hall is filled with the smell of a hearty breakfast which is made even more enjoyable by the conversations shared. During their time together, one of the men presents a short devotional study which is followed by discussion. What better way for men to share the struggles and joys in their daily lives while encouraging their Christian brothers with prayers and support. The hardships in life are many but these moments offer just what is needed to help ease pain and suffering. Mark your calendar for December 29th and bring a friend!
